The tropical house uses the geothermal energy of the warm mountain water, drained from the Lötschberg base-tunnel to produce heat loving fish and tropical fruits. The warm mountain water is sufficiently cooled down to meet the legal requirements for discharge in nearby mountain rivers. At the same time resulted an adventure area with touristic attractions, visitor’s and gastronomic centre.
